Out with the Old - July 2020 Empties

This month's empties is a mix of basics and masks I got as PR and didn't want, need, or enjoy.

Forever favorites, like Batiste Dry Shampoo, Pixi's Endless Silky Eyeliner in Black Noir, and NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brule are obvious repurchases. Simple's Hydrating Light Moisturizer is a tried and true "just ok" product that got me through the peak quarantine "only going to the grocery store and buying whats there" period, but I won't be buying it again any time soon (fingers crossed). Lush's cult favorite Charity Pot Hand Cream was new to me last month, it came along with a Lush order, and I LOVED it! I can see why this is such a staple for so many people, and I hope to pick up a tub in the future.

Now on to the four masks I no longer need to have. Pixi's T-Zone Peel Off Mask, Napoleon Perdis Diamond White Peel Off Mask, and E.L.F.'s Hydrating Bubble Mask are all products I received as PR, and did not enjoy. I don't believe in Peel Off Masks, they're basically just fancy glue that irritates the skin. I won't be convinved otherwise. I gave both of these a shot, and I prefered Pixi's option over Napoleon's, but neither had a place in my skincare lineup. Along the same lines as peel-offs, I tend to not enjoy bubble masks, though there have been exceptions. Unfortunately, the Hydrating Bubble Mask isn't one of them, I found it to be the opposite of hydrating, and far too fragranced for my liking. Morgan enjoyed it, which is the only reason I kept it around so long. And speaking of Morgan, our final product is another one of his - Sukin's Hydrating Facial Masque. Both of us found this mask to be extremely average, and it ended up long abandoned in the back of the skincare cabinet, where it expired.

Anyway, that's this month's empties. Is everyone cool with this new format? Or should I go back to my old indepth individual format?
