Mecca Beauty Loop Box - Spring 2018

I picked up my Spring Beauty Loop Box in the middle of our nightmare repair week that I spoke about in my October empties, and didn't have the time or motivation to do a proper unboxing. That lack of motivation wasn't all bad though - it gave me time to try all four products and form an opinion on them. Click through to see what I thought about Mecca's level 1 Spring Beauty Loop Box!

Too Faced Sell Out Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick
Deluxe Sample (2.3ml) - $9.85
Full Size (7ml) - $30
I'm pretty sure there's a Too Faced product in every Beauty Loop Box! This quarter's level one box contained a Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Sell Out a medium pinky-brown nude that'll suit just about everyone. I've liked every lip product I've tried from Too Faced, and this liquid lipstick is no exception - the formula is comfortable and decently long wearing. I doubt I'd pick up a full size, but I've been reaching for Sell Out pretty often since receiving it.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
Sample (1g?) .89c
Full Size (75g) - $84
Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant is such a classic product, so I was excited to receive it in this quarter's box. This exfoliating powder can be mixed with water or a cleanser to create a gentle but effective scrub. I got five uses out of this surprisingly generous packet, and honestly I can't say that it improved my skin in any way. I enjoyed trying it, nevertheless.
Stila Intense Black Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner
Deluxe Sample (.25ml) - $16
Full Size (.5ml) - $32
I've been lacking a liquid liner in my makeup collection for a while now, and have had my eye on Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Liner, so I was delighted to find a deluxe size in this box. While I love this shape of this pen liner's felt nib, which allows for precise application, I don't like the formula. Stila's liquid liner is thin, watery, and has a tendency to bleed into lines and smudge off- not to mention, the shade is far from an "Intense Black". I feel like the Stay All Day Liquid Liner is super popular - surely the full size is better quality than this sample? I've been using it daily and setting it with Urban Decay's Blackout Eyeshadow with good results, but on it's own, this is a dud for me. If the full size is better, please let me know!
Kate Somerville Cold Cream
Deluxe Sample (2ml) - $2.54
Full Size (89ml) - $70
My favorite sample in the box! I'd been wanting to try Kate Somerville's Cold Cream since it was announced, but balked at the $70 price tag. I got one double cleanse from this 2ml sachet, which was enough to satisfy my curiosity. I loved the way this cleansing cream made my skin feel, but I wasn't as thrilled with it's makeup removing capabilities - it was adequate, but even after two cleanses, I still had some dark residue around my eyes. Unfortunately its not for me.

Total Value:
$29.28
Even though none of the products were particularly great (in my opinion) I think this is my favorite Beauty Loop Box so far! I love how well curated each box is, with such a great mix of products. I'm not sure if I'll be receiving next quarter's box, as I'm no where near reaching my minimum spend (I'm tempted to change that just to stay in the Beauty Loop program!), but either way I'm interested to see what Mecca comes up with.
