Out with the Old - November 2017 Empties

November was a very productive month for me, in terms of empties. I finished thirteen products, a lot of them were old favorites that I've had for too long and needed to go. As always, the products I plan to repurchase (or already have!) are marked with an asterisk (*). Click through to read more and feel free to share your recent empties in the comments!

The first cream cleanser I ever loved! I won this cleanser in one of Rebecca Blackerby's giveaways in 2013 and took it with me on a three month trip to Australia. I left it in my mother in law's medicine cabinet and rediscovered it earlier this year. Somehow, it wasn't gone off, so I took it home with me and used it as a first cleanser on and off. There was only ten to twelve uses left in the tube, and I enjoyed all of them. Unfortunately, I can't repurchase this cleanser, but if it was available in Aus, I'd snap it back up.

I was given a sample of Palmer's Ultra Gentle Facial Cleansing Oil at random by a Priceline cashier, and fell in love with it after just one use. I ended up helping myself to five more packets over the course of several Priceline visits and I'm convinced that I need the full size of this deeply hydrating cleansing oil.

Lush Bewitched Bubble Bar
I bought this black cat shaped bubble bar with the intention of reviewing it, but I was feeling pretty depressed lazy in the middle to end of October and never got around to writing about it. I did enjoy this kitty shaped bubble bath, which turned the water black and gave off a lovely floral scent - definitely unique! I'd buy this again next year!

I've used Real Technique's Miracle Complexion Sponge on and off for years, basically since it was released. I had this particular one in my possession for at least a year and a half, and it was showing it's age badly. Too many micro tears had accumulated and I was no longer getting a smooth application of product. I'm currently using a couple Pür Cosmetics sponges, but once those are gone I'll almost definitely pick up another Miracle Complexion Sponge - for the money it's fantastic.

I received this mini Benefit gloss as a gift with purchase on my 21st birthday - four and a half years ago. I kept the Dandelion Ultra Plush Gloss in my purse and used it all the time yet it never seemed to contain less product? Even now, there's still a good bit of gloss left in the tube, but it's become a pain to get it out, so I'm saying goodbye to this mini gloss. As much as I liked the sheer shimmering pink shade and moisturizing formula, I won't be repurchasing the Dandelion Ultra Plush Gloss - I can't imagine how long a full size tube would last me. It'd definitely go off before I could finish it.

Tony Moly I'm Real Red Wine Sheet Mask x2
I picked up two of the Tony Moly I'm Real Red Wine Sheet Masks at the Myer pop up in Pitt Street Mall a few weeks ago on a whim. Morgan and I used them on our Sunday skincare night and neither of us enjoyed it. He hated the feel of the sheet mask, and I didn't see any impact on my skin at all. I've never really been a sheet mask fan, and the often hyped Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Masks didn't improve my opinion.

Olay's Complete Defence SPF 30 Moisturizer has been my go-to facial sunscreen for well over a year now. I love this light, non-greasy, effective sunscreen for daily use - I've never gotten a single sunburn while using it. I'm currently trying out a different facial sunscreen from Neutrogena, but once I've finished I know I'll be going back to Complete Defence, it's just too good.

Bath&BodyWorks Island Margarita Pocket Bac*
Island Margarita has long been one of my favorite Pocket Bac scents, and unfortunately I think it's been laid to rest by Bath&BodyWorks. I'm a margarita lover, and this salty lime scented hand sanitizer's fragrance was completely spot on. If I ever come across another Island Margarita scented anything, I will buy it. If not, I'll be grieving the loss of this boozy pocket bac.

Typically I really like Tarte mascaras, but I was disappointed by the Tarteist Lash Paint. While this mascara looks amazing when it's freshly applied, it always flaked badly, and couldn't even last five or six hours on my lashes. I kept it around a little longer than I wanted to because I liked the way the spiky brush combed through my lashes, but now I've repurchased Covergirl's Super Sizer Mascara and no longer need it.

Pixi's Flawless Beauty Powder has been my favorite pressed powder for years. If you've kept up with my Products I've Hit Pan On posts, you'd know that I've been working my way through this now-discontinued powder for what seems like ages. Last week the remaining ring of product broke into a few pieces. I mashed it into a fine loose powder and used it to the last particle. If the Flawless Beauty Powder was still on the market, I'd repurchase it in a heartbeat. So begins a journey to find a new favorite powder.

Sukin's Sensitive Facial Moisturizer is probably my favorite product of the year if I'm honest with you. This is my third bottle of this gentle eco-friendly moisturizer, and it probably isn't my last. I'm trying another moisturizer from Sukin at the moment and loving it. I feel like I'll probably alternate between them in the future.

Have you ever seen a more loved bottle of High Beam? This is my second mini bottle of Benefit's cult classic highlighter and I gotta be honest, it has me craving a full size. I've always loved this beautiful pink toned highlighter, but in recent months I've come to appreciate it even more. I scraped out every bit I could with a tiny concealer brush. I'm so sad to see this go!

Back in the good ol' days of 2015, a tub of Nip+Fab's original Glycolic Fix Pads could be found in every other empties post I put up. Nowadays, I've switched to the stronger Extreme formula, and have to be a little more choosy about when I use them - they're triple the price here in Australia! I love these acid toning pads for a gentle but effective nightly exfoliation. Next time they're on offer at Priceline I'll certainly repurchase them. There's always a gap in my skincare routine without them.

What have you finished lately?
