Bliss Triple Oxygen Facial in a Box Kit Review

Bliss says their Triple Oxygen Facial in a Box is a "3 step spa-at-home facial that makes skin remarkably radiant and glowing, as if you just had a professional Bliss Spa facial." This 3-piece kit is meant to provide two facials and sell for between $12-14 at Ulta, Kohls, and of course, Bliss' own website. Bliss is not cruelty free. All three products included in the Triple Oxygen Facial in a Box were made in the USA. Click through for individual reviews, and an overview on this kit's effects.
The Triple Oxygen Facial in a Box has great packaging! This at home facial kit comes housed in an attractive, compact box that offers plenty of product information, including an ingredient list for each product. Inside this little kit you'll find a miniature bottle of the Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask, two individual That's Incredi-Peel Gylcolic Resurfacing Pads, and two packets of Ex-Glow-Sion Moisturizing Cream, plus a direction pamphlet. The included directions are clear and easy to follow, plus they're written in a playful tone that'll really engage the user. All packaging is recyclable.
Bliss Triple Oxygen Mask
Step 1: Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask
Full Size: 100ml/$56

Bliss describes their Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask as "A self-activating mask formulated with multi-action CPR technology, vitamins C & E, and grape seed extract to instantly revitalize, energize and supercharge skin’s natural defenses, resulting in healthy, glowing, youthful skin." This foaming mask pumps out of the bottle as a pearlescent peach gel that transforms into a thick lather as it's worked into the skin. Bliss suggests leaving their Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask on for five minutes, or until the foam has died down, using the mask around three times a week. This bubble mask is such a fun product, the only thing more delightful than watching the foam fizzle away is feeling each individual bubble produce a tiny pop as it disappears. Once the Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask has bubbled away, it forms a film over the skin that can be difficult to wash away - it lathers back up, almost like a cleanser, and needs a thorough rinse. This foaming mask leaves my skin feeling smooth, but a little tight, and looking quite matte. Beyond mattifying the skin, I can't say that Bliss' Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask does any more than a strong foaming cleanser would. On top of the lack of benefits, I can't help but find this mask's formula ironic. While Bliss promises that this product will infuse the skin with extra oxygen (which isn't actually a good thing, oxygen is quite aging!), it's also laced with several antioxidant rich ingredients. Didn't really think that through, did you, Bliss? While this foaming mask serves no real purpose, I can't help but enjoy it's novelty. The fizzy feeling and the bright, invigorating, not at all artificial orange scent make it a great pick-me-up product on early mornings, but its far from a must-have. If you want a similar product with a more balanced ingredient list, Exuviance's Bionic Oxygen Facial is quite similar, but a bit more expensive.
Bliss That's Incredi-Peel
 Step 2: That's Incredi-Peel Glycolic Resurfacing Pads
Full Size: 30 pads/$49

Bliss says "We've reinvented the 'peel' with these convenient, single-step, no-rinse peel pads, engineered with innovative technology that gradually releases powerful levels of exfoliating glycolic acid throughout the night for serious skin renewal without the harsh irritation. Plus, they're packed with soothing witch hazel and licorice extract and hydrating glycerin for extra-gentle results. Finally, the secret to smooth, even, radiant skin is 'revealed'!" I already knew I liked these peel pads, I had tried them in the past - honestly they were a least half the reason that I picked up this kit! The Incredi-Peel Glycolic Resurfacing Pads are large, slightly textured pads, thoroughly soaked in a 10% glycolic solution. Unlike many over the counter peel pads, That's Incredi-Peel has a relatively low pH of 3.4, which is well within the ideal range for glycolic acid to take effect (at least from my understanding, I'm still learning about product's pH levels!). The That's Incredi-Peel Glycolic Resurfacing Pads feel quite active and tingly on the skin on the skin, and you may experience some mild burning on or around acne - and as with all strong acid exfoliators, you must be careful to avoid the eye and lip areas. The strong glycolic formula leaves a slight film on the skin that will evaporate after several minutes, leaving the skin feeling a little dry - you must follow this toner step with a moisturizer! Any discomfort caused by That's Incredi-Peel will be well worth the results! This acid toner pad garners visible results after one use, evening out the skin tone and texture overnight! Because That's Incredi-Peel is such an active product, I would advise those with sensitive skin to skip these peel pads and opt for a product with a smaller amount of Glycolic Acid - Nip+Fab's Glycolic Fix Pads are an affordable and effective choice!
Bliss Ex-Glow-Sion
Step 3: Ex-Glow-Sion Vitabead Infused Moisture Cream
Full Size: 50ml/$64

The Ex-Glow-Sion Vitabead Infused Moisture Cream is "formulated to deliver a mega-dose of radiance and moisture to dry, lackluster skin, this “dream-cream” is loaded with vita-beads that melt into skin to deliver an explosion of antioxidant vitamin E protection on contact. It also includes micro-algae to recharge skin’s energy and enhance cell turnover and three forms of oxygen to support cell respiration and reinforce collagen synthesis." Ex-Glow-Sion is a thick, peach toned gel-cream that spreads easily and sinks in quite slowly without leaving the skin feeling greasy. This weighty moisturizer feels so soothing on the skin, especially after the somewhat harsh peel pad! While Ex-Glow-Sion isn't the world's most hydrating moisturizer, it really seems to plump up the skin, giving it a healthy, glowing appearance for at least 24 hours after use. There isn't too much more to say, Ex-Glow-Sion is the most basic product in this facial kit, and it didn't really leave me with a strong impression. The formula of this moisturizer is almost as uninteresting as it's function. Ex-Glow-Sion is made up of a standard water, glycerin, cetearly alcohol, and dimethicone blend, supplemented with shea butter and peach leaf extract. Bliss included several different plant oils in this moisturizer's formula, but they're present in a minimal amount, they're barely worth mentioning. Much like the Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask, Ex-Glow-Sion has a bright, natural orange scent that makes it a joy to use, especially in the morning!
Bliss says you'll get two facials out of their Facial in a Box kit, but I actually got four! The Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask is generously sized and will last you a good long while. The That's Incredi-Peel pads are quite large and heavily saturated with toner, so I snipped them in two, and the Ex-Glow-Sion sachets are almost bursting with moisturizer, more than enough for two generous applications each! That really improves the kit's value - not that the price wasn't already quite fair!

What kind of results did I see? After each use, my skin was soft and smooth, with an even tone. When evaluating each product individually, I definitely felt like some products were better than others, but I feel like they were all at their peak together. The foaming mask stimulates and cleanses the complexion, the peel pad effectively exfoliates to provide a great base for a soothing moisturizer that really packs a punch in the glow department! The best part about this kit? It can benefit nearly everyone, though I wouldn't recommend it to those with very dry or sensitive skin.
I like Bliss' Triple Oxygen Facial in a Box! This affordable three piece facial kit covers all the bases - mask, cleanse, tone, and moisturize, with three interesting and fun to use products. Whether you're looking to treat yourself, or to give the gift of good skincare, Facial in a Box is a good choice; for under $15 you get to sample three popular Bliss products, and you're guaranteed to love at least one! Bliss' Facial in a Box is a fun little kit that's worth trying. While I don't think I'll be repurchasing this kit, I would love to pick up it's sister, the Night Night Facial in a Box, as well as a box of That's Incredi-Peel pads!
