Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer Review

Elizabeth Mott's Thank Me Later Eye Primer has a "lightweight and waterproof formula that locks in your eye makeup and prevents shadow creasing. Unlike your ex, Thank Me Later will never let you down. This silky blend dries transparent and helps prep your lids for a smooth and even application. Watch your favorite eye shadows intensely come to life. More importantly, it protects your eye makeup all day so you can back to the important things in life (cat videos, selfies, and hoarding makeup samples)." This eyeshadow primer contains 10 grams (.35 oz) of product and retails for $20 on Elizabeth Mott's website. I received a very generous deluxe sample of Thank Me Later in my December Ipsy Bag. Elizabeth Mott is cruelty free.
Thank Me Later's packaging is cute, simple, and functional. This eye primer comes in a pink squeeze tube, the product name and brand logo are printed on it in black lettering. Product dispenses through a narrow applicator, preventing waste and contamination. Unfortunately, this otherwise brilliant packaging doesn't seem to be recyclable.
Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer Swatch
I love a good Drake reference, so I had high hopes for Elizabeth Mott's new eye primer; and much like Drake, this product has never let me down. Thank Me Later has a soft, almost moussey texture and a vague pink tint that blends down to be colorless. This eyeshadow primer creates a smooth, even base that helps shadows apply more evenly, with increased color payoff. Thank Me Later holds powder eyeshadows very well, I've almost never experienced creasing or fading when using this primer. I can't say that Thank Me Later works quite as well with cream eyeshadows, as I do still experience some creasing with some formulas (but cream shadows and I have never really gotten on).
Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer
I've really been enjoying Elizabeth Mott's Thank Me Later Eye Primer! It's the only primer I've been reaching for several weeks; which has been a nice change - I hadn't used anything by NYX HD Eyeshadow Base for months before receiving this primer. Thank Me Later does everything I ask of an eye primer, it prevents creasing, boosts pigmentation, and aids in application - plus packaging is nice! If you want to support a small cosmetic brand, while trying a new eye primer, Elizabeth Mott's Thank Me Later is worth checking out!
