Bella Terra Cosmetics Navy Mineral Shimmer Review+Swatches

Bella Terra says "create show stopping looking with mineral shimmers that don't smudge, streak, or fade. Blendable and easy to apply, these velvety cosmetic gems belong in every makeup bag." These mineral pigments are available in 65 shades, today I'm reviewing Navy, which I received in an Ipsy Bag quite a while ago. Each Bella Terra Mineral Shimmer contains 2 grams of product and sells for $14.99. Bella Terra is cruelty free. This pigment was made in the USA.

Bella Terra's Mineral Shimmers come in simple plastic jars with black screw on caps. The brand logo is printed on the cap. A sifter is included in this pigment's packaging, helping keep any mess at bay. The shade name and number can be found on the bottom of this recyclable jar.
[Dry/Wet, over primer]
Bella Terra's Navy Mineral Shimmer is a soft, powdery loose pigment that (surprisingly) causes very little fallout. This loose shadow packs onto the eyelid well, with strong color payoff. That being said, this pigment is a little too easy to blend, honestly -  Navy really sheers out, so you'll need to pack it on if you want to maintain the shade's original intensity. This pigment is much better off when foiled, the color stays strong and it lasts much better. Even over a primer, Bella Terra's Navy pigment doesn't last very long at all - it starts to crease and fade after about three hours. When foiled, this deep blue eyeshadow lasts closer to seven hours.
Navy is, as I'm sure you can assume, a navy blue. This deep blue shade has a blacked base, with a lighter blue shimmer dispersed throughout it. The shimmering finish becomes nearly metallic when foiled, and Navy becomes much brighter, and more blue.
Bella Terra's Navy Mineral Shimmer is just ok. This loose eyeshadow has alright pigmentation, but it blends a little too well, and is prone to creasing. I really like foiling this deep blue shadow and using it as an eyeliner. Honestly, I don'y recommend Bella Terra's Mineral Shimmers, they're kinda expensive for what you get, and the quality isn't great.
