Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara Review

Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara Review
Pür Minerals says "take your lashes to the extreme with this miracle mascara! If you're looking for the best no clump mascara, you've found it! Fortified with argan oil, this game changing, volumizing mascara formula envelops lashes in nourishing, knockout colour with endless build and dewy sheen. And with our exclusive, clump resistant mascara wand, getting smooth, evenly coated lashes is easy - in tough inner corners! Now that's a stroke of genius!" Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara retails for $20 at Kohls, Ulta, and the brand' website - I received this tube as a gift with purchase with an Ulta order. The Big Look Mascara is also available in a waterproof formula. Pür Mineral does not test on animals. This mascara was made in the USA.

Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara Review
Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara come in a bright pink tube with a mirrored silver cap; the product name and Pür Minerals logo are printed on the tube. The Big Look Brush reminds me a lot the Covergirl Lash Blast brush, actually - this brush is about an inch long and kinda fat, with short, even rubber bristles. The only way this brush differs from the Lash Blast Brush is the rounded tip that really comes in handy at the inner corner. This mascara brush combs through the lashes smoothly, but I find it hard to fit against the base of the lashes without smudging it onto the lash line. Packaging does not seem to be recyclable.
Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara Brush Close Up
I'm pretty neutral about Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara to be entirely honest - its a good mascara, but it doesn't do anything special for my straight lashes. This mascara has a thin, wet formula that doesn't really build up, making the Big Look mascara one-coater in my book. This mascara has a deep black color to it with a slightly shiny finish that didn't really translate into my photos - its a shame, because that dark sheen really makes the lashes pop, especially against fair skin like mine. Big Look separates my lashes beautifully, creating natural, clump free length - if you're looking for voluminous lashes, this mascara is not for you! This mascara creates some initial lift, but the wet formula tends to weigh down and straighten my lashes out over time. Aside from causing my lashes to droop, I get really good wear from Pür Minerals' mascara - I haven't experienced any smudging or flaking in an 8 hour period. The Big Look Mascara is easy to remove with cleanser or makeup remover.
Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara is good, but nothing special. Packaging is cute, but not over the top girly, in spite of the pink tube. The brush is really similar to Covergirl's Lash Blast volume Brush, but with a convenient rounded tip. This mascara creates natural, long, separated lashes, but you won't get the full effect once the wet formula weighs them down. I can depend on Big Look for long lasting wear - no flakes or smudges here, even in the heat. I wouldn't repurchase the Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara, it just doesn't give me the king of dramatic lash look that I like. That being said, I'll keep using my deluxe sample tube on light makeup kinda days. If you're curious about this product, or like natural looking lashes, Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara is a good choice, though a bit expensive for the results it provides.
