Sugarpill Tipsy ChromaLust Loose Eyeshadow Review + Swatches

Sugarpill calls their ChromaLust loose pigments "glamorous, sparkling loose eyeshadows that outshine them all. These ultra fine, metallic powders combine show stopping color with adhesive elements for long lasting wear." Sugarpill recently expanded their ChromaLust lineup from 14 shades to 23! Along with the new shades came a $1 increase in price - these pigments now sell for $13 for 4 grams of product. Sugarpill is cruelty free; and most of their products, including Tipsy, are vegan friendly. This pigment was made in America.

ChromaLusts come in bright boxes that offer lots of information and an ingredient list. These pigments come in chunky round jars with black caps that bear the Sugarpill logo. The shade name can be found on a label on the bottom of the jar. Sugarpill does not include a sifter in their pigment jars.
Tipsy is awesome! This pigment seems a little chunky in the jar, but its surprisingly finely milled. This loose shadow is has a great formula that's easy to pick up with and applies well without causing too much fallout. This vivid pigment blends nicely and remains true to color. Tipsy has pretty good color payoff, though of course a base or primer will intensify payoff. This loose shadow foils well - pigmentation is increased and the finish becomes very metallic. Sugarpill's Tipsy ChromaLust wears well on me, lasting over eight hours with no obvious creasing or fading.
Sugarpill describers Tipsy as a "high shimmer, true grass green." This is a beautiful, bright, medium, warm toned green with copious amounts of fine gold and lime green shimmer. Tipsy has a very dimensional, glittery finish. When worn wet, Tipsy gets bumped up from glittery to straight up metallic. This is the perfect St. Patrick's Day or Tinkerbell green!
Sugarpill's Tipsy ChromaLust is flawless. This pigment has a soft, blendable consistency that's super easy to work with. Tipsy is a gorgeous glittery green that I just can't get enough of. I love Tipsy and cannot recommend it enough! You have to grab this loose shadow, even if its just for some holiday fun.

  1. I love Sugarpill! I only have 1 loose pigment a bright pink one that they sent a sample packet of with my Sparkle Baby palette, but I love it. I wish these had little sifter tops. I could use some bright new colors for spring/summer.
