Elizabeth Mott You're so Fine Liquid Eyeliner Review+Swatches

Elizabeth Mott says their new You're so Fine Liquid Eyeliner is "not just any liquid eyeliner. With you’re so FINE’s micro-tipped brush, you can control your strokes to create dramatic, and sharp cat eyes! This brush is so control friendly that creating precise, symmetrical lines is ridiculously easy, so it’s perfect for first time liquid eyeliner users too. The specialized, quick drying formula has intense, inky pigmentation that’s waterproof, meaning it lasts all day without smudging. Just in time for the holidays, the super flirty Glitterati formula will make you the center of attention. All eyes on you, gorgeous!" Elizabeth Mott offers two shades, both of them are black, today I'm reviewing the glittery shade, Glitterati. The You're so Fine Liquid Eyeliner contains 3 grams (.01 oz) and sells for $17.99. I received this eyeliner in my November Ipsy Bag. Elizabeth Mott is cruelty free. This liquid eyeliner was made in South Korea.

I like this eyeliner's packaging a lot, the style is very Top Shop-esque to me. Elizabeth Mott's You're so Fine Eyeliner comes in a black bottle with a long, silver striped cap. The product name is printed on the tube in grey lettering. The You're so Fine brush really is so easy to use! This brush is short and narrow, the tip is bluntly cut and there is a little bit of splaying, but it doesn't seem to affect application. The narrow brush carries the right amount of product and it hugs the lash line for precising lining. The bluntness of You're so Fine's brush makes it a little difficult to create a cat eye flick. Packaging is not recyclable.
The first time I used Elizabeth Mott's You're so Fine Liquid Eyeliner, I hated it! It was watery and took forever to dry - I never wanted to use it again. Turns out, it just needed a really good shakin'. Elizabeth Mott's liquid eyeliner applies smoothly in a mostly opaque line that's quick to dry down. Glitterati, a deep black, seems to be absolutely saturated with silver glitter when swatched, but the shimmer is actually very subtle on the eye, I hardly notice it. You're so Fine wears very nicely! This liquid eyeliner doesn't fade, smudge, or flake for up to nine hours! The formula is indeed waterproof, I struggle to get all of Elizabeth Mott's eyeliner off. This is one of those liquid liner that crumbles off during removal, as opposed to running or melting, which I find oddly satisfying lol. This jet black liner has the potential to stain fair skin.
Elizabeth Mott's You're so Fine Liquid Eyeliner is good stuff! Packaging is cute, and the thin brush makes precise application easy. The formula is good - if you shake it first! Don't let Glitterati's sparkle scare you, it hardly shows up. Instead, you get a super dark, black line that you can count on to last all day. My only problem with this product is the price - $18 is just too much. If it were cheaper, I'd probably pick up the non-shimmering version. If you're willing to pay the price, you won't be disappointed by Elizabeth Mott's You're so Fine Liquid Eyeliner.
