Physicians Formula Eye Booster Liquid Eyeliner Review+Swatches

Physician's Formula's Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner+Serum contains a "lash boosting complex that targets the oots of lashes where it is most effective in providing nutrients associated with growing long, thick lashes. Innovative and easy to use eyelining tool delivers effortless definition. High-tech Japanese formula is long wearing, water resistant, and smudge resistant.". This liquid eyeliner pen contains .5ml (.16 fl oz) and sells for about $11. Physician's Formula offers three shades, I'm reviewing Ultra Black. Physician's Formula is cruelty free.

The Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner+Serum is a pen style eyeliner, which I've come to prefer for liquid liner. This eyeliner comes in a reflective silver pen with a spring loaded cap that snaps on very firmly - in fact its pretty hard to take off! The Physician's Formula logo, and product and shade name are printed on the pen in black lettering. A ball bearing is housed within the pen, to help mix the product. This liquid liner has an awesome brush tip applicator that comes to a super precise point. The bristles stay together perfectly, with no splaying in sight, making Physician's Formula Eye Booster very easy to apply.
Physician's Formula's Eye Booster is great. This liquid liner applies in an opaque line in one swipe. The eyeliner doesn't bleed into fine lines, and dries down very quickly. I've had nothing but excellent wear from Physician's Formula's eyeliner. No smudges or flakes, but there is a little bit of fading. Actually, that's my only problem with this otherwise awesome liquid liner - it isn't very dark at all, especially for a shade called Ultra Black. I do like the satin finish though. Physician's Formula's Eye Booster is water resistant, as promised. This eyeliner has lasted through hot days, and even an afternoon at the beach, yet it still removes easily. If you're wondering about this eyeliner's ~lash serum infusion~, I'm just gonna be frank about it, it isn't effective. If you're looking for an affordable lash growth product, try Rimmel's Lash Accelerator Serum - it was effective for me.
Physician's Formula's Lash Booster 2-in-1 Eyeliner+Serum doesn't offer much in the way of lash growth, but its still one hell of a liquid eyeliner. The brush tip is just superb, as is the formula. I can always depend on this eyeliner to last all day, no matter what. I'm not satisfied with the shade Ultra Black though, it needs to be way darker. For that reason, I'll repurchase the Jesse's Girl Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner instead. The formula and packaging are both very similar, but its much blacker, and about four bucks cheaper. However, if you don't have access to Jesse's Girl products, Physician's Formula's Eye Booster is a great alternative that I wholeheartedly recommend!
