Pixi Deep Plum Endless Silky Eye Pencil Review+Swatches

Pixi's Endless Silky Eye Pencils are "waterproof, super long wear, no-smudge, no-budge eye liners. They glide on like seamless silk and in a single sweep motion create a flawless, solid jewel toned line. No retouching required all day - or night! Gentle on eyes, yet intensely coloured and super silky." These super popular pencil eyeliners are available in fourteen shades - this review features Deep Plum. Each pencil contains 1.2 grams (.04 oz) and sells for $12 each. Pixi's products are available exclusively in Target, the Pixi Boutique in London, and on the brand's website. Pixi does not test on animals.

Pixi's Endless Silky Eye Pencils are traditional black wooden pencils with the brand's trademark spring green coating. The product and shade name, and a small floral print decorate the pencil. The base of each pencil is color matched for easy shade selection. Pixi's Endless Silky Eye Pencils sharpen smoothly, but be careful, the soft nature of this eyeliner's formula makes the tip prone to breaking off.
Pixi's Endless Silky Eye Pencils have exceptionally smooth, soft textures - very similar to NYX' Slide On Glide On pencils. This pencil eyeliner glides onto both the waterline and eyelid. Deep Plum has good color payoff that can be built up with a second stroke. This pencil is quite smudgable immediately after application, but it sets after about 30 seconds or so. I get good wear from Deep Plum, it lasts about seven hours on my lash line, and two or three hours on the waterline. This liner doesn't smudge, but it has transferred onto my brow bone a couple times - but only on the hottest of days. Deep Plum begins to fade after about six hours. Pixi's waterproof claims prove true - their Endless Silky Eye Pencils can be difficult to remove even with oil based makeup removers.
Deep Plum's name is pretty descriptive. A deep purple with a taupey undertone that becomes more apparent when smudged out. Deep Plum contains a few flecks of of pink shimmer, but they're barely finished. This liner has a metallic finish.
Pixi's Endless Silky Eye Pencils in Deep Plum is good, but not perfect. The texture is awesome! It makes application so easy. Wear is average - no smudging, a bit of fading, sometimes a hint of transferring. This pencil has a waterproof formula that can be hard to remove. Deep Plum is a dark, metallic plum with a hint of pink shimmer - interesting, but wearable. I don't think I'll repurchase Deep Plum, but you can be that you'll see more Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencil reviews in the future!
