Lorac says "TANtalize and mesmerize with LORAC's Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo. Highlight, color and contour with this versatile, easy-to-use, dynamic duo that contains a velvety-smooth luminizing powder for pro-highlighting and a matte bronzing powder for perfectly contoured, bronze cheeks. This unique formula is oil, fragrance, paraben and talc free and great for all skin types. Complete with a super-size mirror, this glamorous compact is perfect for an on-the-go Red Carpet glow!" This sculpting face duo is available in two sizes - the full size contains 12 grams (.4 oz) and sells for $32. A smaller, travel sized version contains 6 grams (.2 oz) and costs just $12!* Lorac is cruelty free. This product was made in China. Lorac products can be purchased from the brand's website, Ulta, Kohls, and a variety of etailers.

The TANtalizer Highlighter&Matte Bronzer Duo comes in a round, mirrored gold compact. The Lorac logo and product name are printed on the front of the compact in black letters. Opening the compact reveals a full sized, good quality mirror and two semi-circular pans that are barely divided. I dislike the lack of division between products since on is dark and matte, and the other is light and shimmery, there's a chance at significant cross contamination. The super shiny exterior packaging also holds fingerprints like nobody's business (and was a pain in butt to photograph). I'm not a fan. To make matters worse, packaging does not seem to be recyclable.
Lorac's TANtalizer Highlighter is a warm, frosty champagne toned illuminator. This powder highlight has a soft, yet firmly pressed texture that's easy to pick up with a brush, yet it doesn't kick up much excess. Lorac's highlighting powder has a soft, candle lit effect on the skin; it isn't glittery by any means and it doesn't seem to accentuate pores.. I personally like to apply this highlighter with a wispy fan brush like Bdellium Tools' 925. I get decent wear from the TANtalizer, about six hours. The small shimmery particles don't migrate or fallout, they adhere to the skin very well.
The TANtalizer Bronzer was very intimidating at first, it was way darker than I expected - even darker than Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer! This deep, richly pigmented bronzer has a neutral undertone - no orange tinge to speak of! (the blended swatch below showed up a bit warmer than it really is). Lorac's TANtalizer Bronzer has a lovely satin matte finish that appears quite skin-like. This bronzing powder has a luxuriously smooth, silky texture that makes it a dream to work with, and it kicks up no excess powder - none! This deep matte bronzer blends out exceptionally well, and can be sheered out enough that it doesn't overwhelm my fair skin. Even thoroughly blended, this neutral, almost cool toned bronzer can pack a punch when it comes to contouring. I get all day wear from Lorac's TANtalizer Bronzer, up to nine hours.
I've also been wearing the TANtalizer Duo on the eyes a lot recently. This bronzer and highlighter make surprisingly good eyeshadows, wearing for up to ten hours over primer. The champagne shade is gorgeous blended from lash to brow, and the bronzer is an awesome, subtle crease shade. They're so quick and easy to throw on.
Together, Lorac's TANtalizer Highlighter&Matte Bronzer Duo create a subtle, sculpted look - or a simple yet gorgeous eye look. Both the deep matte bronzer and champagne-beige highlighter have soft, easy to blend formulas that are truly lovely. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about the packaging, I think it looks and feels a bit cheap. I really do enjoy this contouring and highlighting duo, it was a great introduction to Lorac, and I hope to try more from the brand in the future. Would I repurchase? Perhaps! I encourage you to try the TANtalizer Duo - the travel size version is a steal!

*The travel size appears to be Ulta exclusive.
