Lancome Hypnose Mascara Review

Lancome's Hypnose Mascara will provide "buildable volume for custom lash results. Tiny, barely there lashes are no match for the patented POWERFULL™ brush that thickens lashes from root to tip with custom volume you can control. The SoftSculpt formula enriched with Vitamin B5, wraps lashes one luxurious layer at a time without smearing, smudging, or clumping." This mascara is available in both washable and waterproof formulas, and in three shades. My review features the black shade, in the washable formula. This mascara retails for $27.50, making it the most luxe mascara I've ever tried. Unfortunately, Lancome is not cruelty free.

The Hypnose Mascara has simple, yet lovely packaging. This mascara comes in an opaque, black, curvy tube. The cap features the Lancome logo on one side, and the Hypnose, and the brand's signature gold rose adorn the other. Equal to the tube in simplicity is Hypnose's brush. An inch long and quite slender, this brush features short, spiraling traditional bristles. This brush is very easy to work with, it carries just the right amount of product. I'm unsure if packaging is recyclable or not.
Lancome's Hypnose Mascara is an all around great basic mascara - it does a little bit of everything, and does it well. This mascara has a slightly dry formula that lets you just keep layering. In two coats, Hypnose lifts and lengthens the lashes significantly, while adding a pleasing amount of clump-free volume. Lancome's Hypnose Mascara holds a curl very well. When it comes to wear, Hypnose does not disappoint! This mascara doesn't flake or smudge for up to ten hours. The Hypnose Mascara is easy to remove with micellar water, or even just a facial cleanser.
Lancome's Hypnose Mascara is so good! Packaging manages to be both basic and beautiful. This mascara has an awesome formula, it lengthens, thickens, and holds a curl, and the wear is so dependable! I love Lancome's Hypnose Mascara, but not enough to drop nearly thirty bucks on a second tube. That being said, I think this mascara is certainly worth trying!

  1. Wow that's a crazy looking mascara tube. Great post, I don't know that I would spend that amount on a mascara myself but it would be a good option if I want to treat myself.

    1. It would be! That's how I like to look at a lot of high end products.

  2. I've tried almost all of Lancôme's mascaras (and loved them all lol) but I've never tried this one!

    1. Yeah it seems like this mascara isn't talk about by anyone! Idk why, its awesome =D
