Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum Review

Marc Jacobs' Dot Eau de Parfum "captures a charming, upbeat spirit with timeless sophistication. Simple and straightforward in statement, exuberant and feminine in design, Dot is a colorful Marc Jacobs creation that comes full circle with a balance of modernity and elegance. Dot is available in four sizes, a .33 oz rollerball ($22), 1 oz spray ($52), 1.7 oz spray ($72, and 3.4 oz spray ($92). Marc Jacobs fragrances are made by Coty Prestige, who's animal testing policy is unclear. This Eau de Parfum was made in France.

The Dot fragrance line has a lovely, girly, lady bug inspired packaging, with each size having a slightly different design, getting more intricate with each larger size. Even the little cardboard folder my sample came in looks nice. Oh, and a great bonus - the sample vial has a spray cap!
Notes: Red Berries, Dragonfruit, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Coconut Water, Orange Blossom, Vanilla, Driftwood, Musk

Marc Jacob describes Dot as "exuberant top captivates with a delectable blend of red berries, succulent dragonfruit, and sweet honeysuckle. The lush floral heart of the fragrance blooms with the addictive beautiful jasmine, mingled with energizing notes of coconut water and orange blossom. The scent rounds out with a feminine dry down of creamy vanilla, driftwood, and sensual musks."  I have a love/hate relationship with Marc Jacobs' fragrances, and Dot definitely falls into the 'love' catagory. Freshly applied, Dot is fruity with a bit of zing to it. As it dries down, the soft, powdery notes of jasmine becomes more apparent, without overpowering the juicy berry top notes. I don't pick up any of the bottom notes that are listed. Dot sits close to the skin and isn't at all overpowering. Dot has good lasting powder, I can still pick it up on my skin after about six hours, longer in my hair and clothes.
Marc Jacobs' Dot Fragrance is really nice! This Eau de Parfum is both fruity and floral. I don't love it quite  the way I love Daisy Eau so Fresh, bu I'd still consider picking up a rollerball of Dot. I love the blend of sweet yet tart berries and soft jasmine. Give Marc Jacobs' Dot a sniff some time!
