Ulta3 Tahiti Nail Color Review

Ulta3 is one of the cheapest Australian beauty brands best known for their expansive nail polish range. Ulta3 offers over 80 shades of nail polish. Apparently this is the best selling nail polish brand in Australia. This brand can be found at just about any drugstore, chemist, and at Target in Aus. I'm reviewing the shade Tahiti, a very intense coral. I can't find Ulta3's animal testing policy. This lacquer was made in Australia. Unfortunately, like many Aussie nail products, Ulta3's formula contains bad stuff like formaldehyde and camphor, ingredients rarely included in American polishes. I bought this .46fl oz (3.5ml) bottle at a little chemist in Blacktown Westpoint for $2.
The clear glass bottle is topped off with a white plastic cap. The cap seems firmly attached to the top of the brush. The front of the bottle features the brand name and shade name on the the front along with half of a white flower. Some company info can be found on the back of the bottle. The brush is long, thin, rounded, flexible, with no splayed bristles.
Tahiti applies in thin but even coats. This is a three coater for me but you can get away with two if you apply it thicker than I do. Each coat dries in about 45 seconds, I'd define that as fast drying. Tahiti is a great summer color. A bright, hot pink coral at least in the bottle. On the nail it dries to a more orangey tinged but still fairly pink coral. It's pretty bright, but not neon like the camera shows. Tahiti dries down to an almost matte finish, if you would prefer it shinier, you'd definitely need a top coat. Actually you probably will require a top coat anyway, cause this pretty pinky coral polish can't stay on without one. I've worn Tahiti 5 times and have not gotten more than a day of wear from it.
Ulta3's Tahiti is a fantastic color. Bright, intense coral. But the color is really the only great thing about this polish, other than the price. I just can't get Tahiti to stick. A shame cause I really like the color. I won't be repurchasing Tahiti, nor do I recommend it because of the poor wear and questionable ingredients.
