Julep Maven Box

A couple months ago I was reading one of the many beauty sites I frequent and saw an interview with the PR Rep of Julep nails; a cult nail polish brand and chain of spas in the West Coast. The interview mentioned that they were looking for more bloggers to review their products, so I jumped at the chance right away. I got a response within minutes and my first Maven box was sent to me courtesy of Julep within days. I couldn't choose a theme of my box, so I told their PR rep Natasha to surprise me. I got the boho glam box. The products came wrapped in black paper with a pink bow. The box was filled with shredded black paper, and a couple info cards, as well as two toe separators.
My box included a full size of "The Best Pedi Creme Ever!", that exfoliates with alphahydroxy acids, and hydrates with coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. Natasha told me that this is one of her favorite products. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty excited. I love the packaging. This foot cream retails for a very pricey $22.
Two full size nail vernis, each retailing for $14 for. The shades are Hayden, a "bold and bright neon peach creme", and Courtney, a "key lime green creme". While I agree fully with Courtney's description, I find Hayden to be more of a matte shade, and no where near neon. These polishes are quite small, smaller than I realised.

Julep offered me an affiliation, which I accepted. I'll post a more indepth look at the Julep Maven program sometime in the next week or so. Until then, if you feel like you know enough about the company, or are really interested, here is my referral link and promo code:

  3. both those colors look super pretty! ahhhh, i think in december if they are still doing this i will finally sign up!

  4. Love both the colors. Have you had any problem with separation? I've heard a few other bloggers having problems with their polishes separating and then when shaken again, not mixing together anymore.
